Letters to the Editor: More Than One Grocery Store

After reading Deer Park Moving Forward (Vol. 8 Issue 10), there is something that Deer Park needs to address. Living here since 1983, there has always been more than one grocery store until a few years back. With so many new family homes being built, isn’t it time for one more grocery store to serve all the new families?

Unfortunately, the system in which we live, plays to only two parties, that hold a strangle hold on power. As such what is one then to assume? Letter To Editor – A Touch Of Class In The Northeast A

On Thursday, February 1″ the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams from Riverside traveled to Newport for the final regular-season games against the Grizzlies. Both girls’ teams experienced injuries to key players during the season and had endured humiliating lopsided losses. In the first meeting, Riverside had won by 30. Letter To Editor – Vote YES for Riverside – Tommy Mowles

On February 13th the voters of Riverside will have an opportunity to positively impact the future of the Riverside school district. Our schools have long been a source of pride for our community through the excellent education they have provided to our students while also providing excellent management of taxpayer dollars. Riverside has the lowest tax rate of any school district in Spokane county, and it has not had a bond election for construction since 1998.
