The Pend Oreille County Master Gardeners are offering a free, live, internet class called “Bear Aware”, on Thursday, May 21st, from 6:30pm-8:00pm. If a close encounter should occur, the goal is to educate you on the best way to handle the situation and minimize the bear encounter risk.
