Denette Leeann March was born on 08-21-2002 to Lonnie and Tracy March in Spokane, WA. She grew up in Deer Park, WA where she spent her childhood on her family dairy goat farm and Animal rescue, traveling extensively and enjoying all things school with an influence in FFA, 4-H , and production.

In all the cracks of Denette’s life from 6 years old to shortly prior to passing she was an avid and passionate concert attendee and traveler, in her short time in this life she traveled to 15 countries with some of her favorites destinations including Ireland, London, Hawaii, Belize, New York, Forks, La Push, Montana, and countless Caribbean islands. As a family we tried concluding the total concerts attended and the number was too large to calculate. She spent her days as a fun loving, daughter, sister, partner, co worker, and community member. As she began her transition into her young adult life she made the move to Pullman, WA with her significant other Adam, where much of her time was spent dedicated to her job and being Adams #1 cheerleader in all things Cougars and drumline! During this time she resubmerged herself back in her passion for goats with sister Miriah eventually moving home to Deer Park and dedicating herself to daily love, care and management for her herd of show goats. Shortly after returning to Deer Park Denette found herself working in Loon Lake where she made a positive impact on the local community. Through Denette’s time here with us she had one common theme in life and that was wherever she went she always made people smile, feel seen and cared for. She was likely to give you a hard time jokingly, steal your snacks or take a nap mid adventure but no matter what she would make you feel love and connection accompanied by laughter. She will be greatly missed by her family, loved ones, goat community, friends, school community and regular customers.
She is survived by her Father Lonnie March, Mother Tracy March, Step father Lyle Curran, Oldest sister Miriah March, Brother in law Garrett Powell, Youngest sister Paige March and partner Tyler Dahl, Sister Desiree Ricks and children Ayva and Jaxson Wentz. Grandparents, Linda Kilmer, Larry March, Mercy March. Also survived by her loving partner Adam Harris and family.
Denette’s celebration of life will take place on February 28th, 2026 at The Deer Park High School in the theater at 1pm. Formal services followed by an open mic where the family encourages attendees to share kind words, stories and sentiments surrounding Denette. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in her honor to help insure continued care of her precious goats.
