Ready to trade clutter for cash or love the thrill of haggling? Deer Park’s City-Wide Yard Sale returns this weekend, offering a fun, thrifty way to connect with the community. Sellers can still sign up online, allowing new sales to pop up all weekend.
Since 2009, the Deer Park Yard Sale (DPYS) has helped residents simplify cleanouts, promote reuse, and connect with neighbors. What began as a grassroots effort has grown into a major summer tradition, drawing bargain hunters from across Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and even British Columbia.
This weekend, from Friday to Sunday, August 1st–3rd, porches, garages, and front yards across Deer Park will transform into a massive community marketplace. The event unites dozens of individual yard and garage sales into one city-wide treasure hunt that’s eagerly anticipated each year.
Sign-ups for sales are still open, and in years past, new yard sales have continued to pop up even after the event begins. Shoppers are encouraged to check the online map regularly at DPYardSale.com to avoid missing out on surprise finds or last-minute additions.
For shoppers, it’s a chance to score great deals on everything from tools and toys to vintage finds and furniture while enjoying a stroll around town. For sellers, it’s an opportunity to declutter, make some money, and meet neighbors. And for Deer Park itself, the event brings a boost to local businesses as visitors stop in for food, gas, and enjoy this annual event.
The Map
A digital and printable map showing all participating sales will be made available on Thursday evening, July 31st, on DPYardSale.com. Each listing may include a brief description of items for sale, helping shoppers plan their route. Registering a sale is free and open to anyone within the Deer Park area throughout the event weekend.

Hosts:
Promote your sale with eye-catching signage, and don’t rely solely on online advertising; invite neighbors to join in or stop by. Organized, clearly priced items make a sale more appealing. A full list of hosting tips can be found at:
Shoppers:
Make a list of what you’re looking for, plan your stops using the DPYS map, and don’t forget water and snacks. Haggling is part of the experience, but politeness goes a long way. Learn more tips here:
