Deer Park Man Missing – Officials Seeking Information

Harry A. Ballman, 72, was last seen July 6 in Deer Park.

Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies are seeking public assistance to locate 72-year-old Harry A. Ballman, who was reported missing from his Deer Park home on July 7, 2025. Ballman, who suffers from dementia and other health concerns, was last seen on July 6 and his family is gravely concerned for his welfare amidst rising temperatures. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Crime Check immediately.

A search is underway in Deer Park for Harry A. Ballman, a 72-year-old vulnerable adult whose family reported him missing to Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies on Monday, July 7, 2025. Mr. Ballman, who has dementia and other health issues, was last seen at his residence in the 3700 block of E Laurel Road. His disappearance has prompted significant concern from his family and local authorities, especially given the current heat conditions and his medical vulnerabilities.

Mr. Ballman was last observed on the afternoon of Sunday, July 6, at his home. His family became aware of his absence around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 7, after initially believing he was on one of his customary early morning walks. Despite their efforts to find him, they have been unsuccessful, leading them to contact law enforcement for assistance.

Described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds, Mr. Ballman has distinctive blue eyes, white hair, and a full white beard. While his current clothing is unknown, he is frequently seen wearing Seahawks’ attire. It is believed he is traveling on foot.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is urging residents to be vigilant and report any sightings. The combination of Mr. Ballman’s dementia, which can cause confusion, his additional health concerns, and the prevailing high temperatures, makes his prompt location a critical priority. His family and friends are deeply worried about his well-being.

Anyone who has seen Harry A. Ballman or possesses information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Check at 509-456-2233. Please reference case number 10093409 when providing information. The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office also shared details on their Facebook page to aid in the search.
