Miss Deer Park 2025: Scholarships & Opportunities Await

Sophomore and junior high school girls are invited to join the 2025 Miss Deer Park Scholarship Program. This annual event, which has awarded over $48,000 in scholarships over the past three years, offers opportunities to represent the community, build confidence, and help fund college.

Organizers announced that the 2025 Miss Deer Park Scholarship Program plans are advancing. The event, with the theme “Oh! The Places You’ll Go!” aims to highlight the journey of growth, confidence, and opportunity for its participants.

The program, a longstanding tradition in Deer Park, allows young women to represent the city at community events and parades. Contestants also benefit from coaching in public speaking, professional presentation, and poise, offering valuable life skills and experiences.

This year’s event will occur on March 15th, 2025, at the Ken Fisher Auditorium at Deer Park High School (DPHS). The competition will include a mix of scored and non-scored categories, and scholarships will be awarded to each top performer.

How To Compete In Miss Deer Park
The Miss Deer Park Association is inviting all sophomore and junior girls to participate in the 2025 Miss Deer Park Scholarship Program. Interested individuals can sign up by attending the first week of practices. Practices and parent meetings will occur at the Ken Fisher Auditorium at Deer Park High School.

Practices are scheduled to begin on January 13th, 2025, and will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm in the weeks leading up to the event. A mandatory parent meeting is set for January 15th, 2025, at 6pm. The deadline to sign up is by the fourth practice. However, potential participants should show up to practice as early as possible.

For additional information or to volunteer with the program, contact Miss Deer Park Association President Nikki Burton at [email protected] or (509) 768-5348.
