The Summer Concert Series Is Back

Summer in Deer Park isn’t complete without our favorite music festival in the park! With new organizers and a new vision, this year’s Summer Concert Series will include vendors, food trucks, and laser tag. This is sure to be an eight-week family event you don’t want to miss.

Deer Park Promotions and Cloverleaf Education Services are partnering to bring back the Summer Concert Series. Cloverleaf is a local 501(c)3 STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) tutoring and education service. Deer Park Promotions is not an official non-profit, but an entity dedicated to helping community artists and promoting musicians and events in the Deer Park area. The Summer Concert Series will be at Mix Park, 301 West 4th Street, on the Betty Burdette Gazebo. It is recommended that attendees bring their own chairs or blankets to sit on during the event.

The Music

The Summer Concert Series kicks off an array of musical genres and styles beginning on June 15th, which promises to be an evening full of jazz. Then, every Saturday for eight-weeks, the park will be flooded with an endless variety of pop, rock, country, and folk, as well as some dance, drama, and a local talent show!  You will not want to miss a single episode of this series.

All concerts will be from 5pm to 8pm. The first hour will be dedicated to local youth acts, such as Soul Studios Dancers and Cloverleaf’s choral and drama teams. At 6pm the evening’s headliner, who are all local talents, will take the stage.

The entire musical schedule is below.

Talent Showcase

On July 6th, before the headline show, there will be a Community Talent Contest.  Come share your talent with your neighbors and maybe win a prize!

The Festivities and Sponsors

Vendors, crafters, and food trucks are all invited to this party. Starting June 29th, Mobile Laser Tag will be set up for kids of all ages to play.  Come to see what else is available!

Sponsors are still needed to help this event be all that it can be. Each sponsor will be publicly acknowledged.
