Cloverleaf’s Vintage Tea Fundraiser

Join the Cloverleaf family for an elegant vintage tea room experience. Experience a variety of deeply flavored teas, classic cucumber sandwiches, and a vintage pearl and jewelry sale. It is sure to be a wonderful afternoon of tea and merriment.

Cloverleaf Educational Service is kicking off their summer schedule with a Mother’s Tea and choral performance on June 1st. This event serves as a fundraiser for their other summer activities, including a series of STEAM summer camps for PreK-8th graders. The camps are packed with science, outdoor fun, and learning, making them an excellent opportunity to take advantage of.

Promised to be a classy, vintage-filled afternoon social, the Mother’s Tea (Dads are welcome too) offers you the chance to find your cup of tea while listening to the talented young singers of the Cloverleaf Chorus.

Classic teatime delicacies will be served along with a variety of warm beverages. Starting with a candy pecan salad, followed by chicken salad, cream puffs, and cucumber sandwiches. You will be transported to a time gone by, immersed in elegance and class. Prefer not to have tea? Coffee will also be available.

The event is more than just a fun social occasion.  Funds raised from ticket sales will help fund Cloverleaf’s summer STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) camps, as well as other upcoming events.

Invite your friends, treat your mom, and have a pleasant tea time, all while supporting your local kids’ learning about the sciences.

The tea room will be held June 1st from 11am-1pm at the VFW building on 29 E 1st Street.  Tickets are $20 and available online at DPGazette.com/cloverleaftea24. There is additionally a space to add a donation if you so desire.

Limited tickets will also be available for purchase at the door.
