Deer Park High School senior Brady Profit has earned the opportunity to compete in the national SkillsUSA welding contest in Atlanta, Georgia, this June. Profit secured his spot in the national competition after earning 1st place in the Washington State SkillsUSA Welding Contest.

The national competition will bring together the top fifty welding competitors from across the country. Profit will have the opportunity to showcase his welding skills and compete against some of the most talented high school welders in the United States.

Welding is a crucial skill in many industries, including construction, manufacturing, and automotive repair. As a result, welding competitions put on by groups like SkillsUSA play an essential role in promoting excellence and providing opportunities for young people to showcase their skills and pursue careers in these fields.
