A Historic 1908 home caught on fire early Sunday morning. The familiar home suffered significant damage as a result of the fire. The fire did not impact any other surrounding buildings.

The farmhouse is a familiar sight for many traveling Highway 395 to and from Spokane. The home was built in 1908, according to Spokane County records. The property is located on the west side of Fender Rd, about a mile north of Fire Station #49, the short distance made it easier to transport the required water to battle the blaze.
