Deer Park City Wide Yard Sale Coming Soon

We’re less than a week away from the Deer Park Yard Sale (DPYS); held annually during the first weekend in August for over 10 years!  Whether you are hosting a sale or hunting for a bargain, this weekend will be a great time.

Since 2009, the Deer Park City Yard Sale has helped the community of Deer Park with decluttering, downsizing, or in many cases, discovering new treasures. Bargain hunters from around the area visit Deer Park for this three-day event; there have even been visitors from Idaho, Oregon, and Canada in past years, which helps boost our local economy.

Hosts:

Deer Park Yard Sale will be advertising the sales, but it helps tremendously when you also spread the word. Tell friends and neighbors, and encourage them to take part. Create large and clear signs to help direct visitors to your sale.

Shoppers:

Make sure to list what you are shopping for and map out your route! Remember to have refreshments on hand as you may be out for a while and need to stay fed and hydrated. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or negotiate.

A map of sales will be available on the Deer Park Yard Sale website, along with additional information for each location. If you are a business owner interested in holding a sidewalk sale, your site can also be included on the map. Registering and adding your sale is free! For more information, visit Dpyardsale.com. Answers to several questions can conveniently be found on the FAQ page. A contact form is available for additional questions. You can also follow the event on Facebook: Fb.me/dpyardsale to keep up with any updates.
