Several items were on the agenda for the August 18th meeting. However, there was no new business to address. The City Council held the third reading of an update to the Zoning Code Ordinance. The consent agendas included two items: the approval of voucher claim checks and payroll checks and the extension No. 1 involving the agreement between the City of Deer Park and the Deer Park Chamber of Commerce. Then there was a report from departments and officers. Finally, a couple of community members took the opportunity to share their opinions on topics facing our community.
