Personality/Disposition:

Clifford (tan) is a brand-new dog! You would never know his past of running the streets, paralysis, and near death. He transformed from scared and sickly into a fun-loving puppy. Clifford now craves attention. He recently discovered how amazing belly rubs are. He loves food! He loves hanging in the backyard, where he wrestles his brother or enjoys the sun.

Clyde’s (black/tan) progress is visible in the little things! He loves to sleep on his humans’ bed. Some days you can pet him carelessly, some days he is more reserved, preferring to lay away from you. Hands seem to still scare him, but he will happily lick feet and allow foot ‘pets’! Every day he learns humans are worthy of trust. He LOVES toys and bones and will carry them around like trophies.

Clyde and Clifford are looking for separate homes. Would do best with older/no kiddos, an older dog to help mentor them, and active families. Both are potty trained with a doggy door, and actively crate trained with their foster.

Christmas Cavalcade

Youngsters and their parents began arriving at Legacy Farm and Stable early on December 19th to decorate horses. They came from a wide area over Stevens and Spokane counties. Once all 15 steeds had been decked in their festive best, the cavalcade (formal procession) departed the stable. Taking a route often used for the trail riding program at Legacy Farm and Stable, then crossing Highway 292, the group proceeded to Colville Road. There the caroling began. An advance team went ahead on an ATV to knock on doors and let people know the riders were coming. Many residents were excited to come stand outside in the cold and take pictures and sing along.
