Summer Concert Series

Deer Park’s summer concert series is coming back to Mix Park. Warm evenings with some cool tunes is set to bring some “normal” back to our community. 

This year’s series includes a variety of musical stylings, as well as the return of the Masters Brewhouse food and Beer Garden.

6/27   Theresa Edwards Band – Upbeat, Fun Dance Music

7/4     Floating Crowbar – Traditional Irish

7/11   Idle Poets – Jazz, Blues, Rock, Soul

7/18   Brad Keeler – Multi-Instrumentalist, Singer

8/1     Plaid Cat – Oldies

8/15   Farm Strong – Four-Piece Country, Bluegrass

We moved here in 2003, my husband was from the area originally but put many years in the Marine Corp, and worked after that for a time. We live about a mile and half south of the Deer Park Airport. The Northern Roots Hair Salon is opening a new spa! Located at 106 East Crawford Street, Roots is a high end day spa offering a wide range of relaxing services, including facials, massage, nails, pedicures, and eyelash extensions. They will be holding a Grand Opening party on Saturday, March 6th, from 11am to 4pm, to give the community a chance to meet their staff and check out their new space!
