You’re invited to the music event of the season, and Deer Park Band Boosters’ biggest fundraiser of the year!

The award winning Deer Park High School and Middle School Jazz Bands, along with the unique sounds of the Stage Steel Pan Band will fill your evening with music, all while you enjoy delectable desserts. 

But wait, there’s more!  You can also take part in the live and silent  auctions. Even if you decide not to bid, you may not leave empty handed, as there will be several door prizes as well.

This wonderful event will take place at the Deer Park High School Commons, 800 South Weber Road. Join the Band Boosters in supporting our local school bands, and enriching all our lives with this exciting music.

Advance tickets $10, day of event tickets $15. High school and middle school band students will have tickets to sell.

As a city council member in the late 70’s and early 80’s and a city employee for 24 years I have heard a lot of misinformation disseminated through “coffee shop” talk and later social media. It has always concerned me to hear incorrect information passed along by people who don’t bother to ask for the facts, when they are readily available. Right now I am hearing of things being said about the Deer Park School levy, particularly the need for a new bus barn, that are troubling.

This Weekend, Bounce Around Deer Park For Settlers Fun

Starting this Friday, Deer Park’s Settlers Day weekend features many old and new events to keep you hopping around town. People can see a lively parade, rodeo, fire station demonstrations, youth baseball tournaments, and a farm swap. Food vendors, live music, and family-friendly activities throughout the town. Additionally, there’s an opportunity to give back at a Special Olympics fundraiser, complete with water fights involving local fire and law enforcement personnel.
