Dine Out to Help Out

Consider patronizing local restaurants during Dine Out To Help Out. Participating restaurants will donate 10% of their day’s proceeds to the GreenHouse Food Bank.

Tuesday, November 19th, you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, and even your coffee while benefiting the GreenHouse Food Bank at the same time! This is the first annual Dine Out to Help Out to support Deer Park’s GreenHouse.

Director of the GreenHouse, Melanie Allen said, “For every $1 raised, the Food Bank can provide the equivalent of four meals to individuals and families who are faced with hunger!” This Dine Out to Help Out drive is part of a continued effort to provide healthy, nutritious food to families facing food insecurity in the Deer Park area.

The GreenHouse serves over 1,100 individuals each month. This covers more than just food, it also includes clothing and emergency needs (such as energy assistance).

An event has been created on Facebook with more information and a list of participating businesses DPGazette.com/dineout
