Dear Editor,
Kudos to the Deer Park Mayor, City Council and staff. The guidelines set forth for this years’ annual Fourth of July, seemed to set clearer understanding of expectations for the celebration. The city’s display was beautiful; and I appreciated the ending time of 11pm, while my neighborhood observed the same time frame. Thank you for a very enjoyable Fourth of July celebration.

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the ongoing unprofessional and harmful behavior of Deer Park School Board Director Ashby. His public accusations against me, falsely labeling me as unethical, amount to defamation and slander, unfairly damaging my reputation. It is unacceptable for a sitting board member to engage in such reckless and baseless personal attacks.

I’m writing in support of the proposed Replacement Bond for School Construction. I’m an active community member & volunteer. I have made it a priority and taken the time to learn how this bond will be used. I’ve found an open-door policy and full in regards to the use and justification of the bond. I am impressed and grateful for the prioritization the School Board and Bond Committee are giving to the feedback they’ve received from the community about concerns over an increase in their tax bill. Every Committee and Board member I’ve encountered is eager to answer questions.
As a former District Cout Judge, I have often heard friends and family ask about how to vote in judicial races. Occasionally there is a race where I have provided a public endorsement and this year presents such a race. Tim Fennessy is running for re-election to Position 11 on the Spokane County Superior Court. After more than 33 years practicing law in Spokane, Judge Fennessy was elected to the bench in 2016.
I am writing in support for reelecting Wes McCart for county commissioner. Commissioner McCart has become one of the most influential public servants in Eastern Washington and never fails to bring the concerns of Stevens County to the forefront in all matters legislative.
You may be familiar with what pickleball is…a combination of tennis, ping pong and badminton. The uniqueness of pickleball is what brings so many to the sport.

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation to the residents of Deer Park for their overwhelming support in the recent City Council election. It is with immense gratitude that I acknowledge the trust and confidence you have placed in me by casting your votes in my favor.
It’s Independence Day! The 4th of July. Every year, from as far back as our collective memories can remember, families have celebrated the Birth of our Nation in many ways; parades, picnics, camping trips, but mostly: fireworks.
