Deer Park Volunteer Ambulance Would Like To Thank All Of Our Supporters

Deer Park Volunteer Ambulance, in cooperation with the Settlers Organization, enjoyed a wonderful turnout for the Health, Safety and Wellness Fair held at Mix Park after the Settlers Day Parade.

We appreciate all of the vendors who provided information that helped educate our community members. The Fair was also made possible by those who contributed through a sponsorship. We are grateful for the support in our fundraising efforts, and in our efforts to give back to the community through health, safety and wellness education.

The funds raised this year will help purchase a new piece of medical equipment that will assist paramedics in their efforts to establish an airway on an unconscious patient. The equipment is technologically advanced and will be an asset to providing advanced patient care. Ultimately, this will contribute to a better success rate in resuscitating a patient.

This Weekend, Bounce Around Deer Park For Settlers Fun

Starting this Friday, Deer Park’s Settlers Day weekend features many old and new events to keep you hopping around town. People can see a lively parade, rodeo, fire station demonstrations, youth baseball tournaments, and a farm swap. Food vendors, live music, and family-friendly activities throughout the town. Additionally, there’s an opportunity to give back at a Special Olympics fundraiser, complete with water fights involving local fire and law enforcement personnel.
