New Rotary Club Members

Aaron Norris and Darci Mankin became the newest members of the Deer Park Rotary Club on July 26th. Past District Governor Bob Carroll spoke about the little changes that happen each year in Rotary, and how often those changes come about due to the changing composition of membership.  Each person’s interests and skill sets impact the club, Mr. Norris and Ms. Mankin will be no exception.

Secretary of the Deer Park Rotary Club Carol Caroll said the club doesn’t always know what sort of changes will come, but also said, “We know they will enhance Rotary’s ability to deliver meaningful change in our community and the world. “

Darci Mankin is the branch manager of Horizon Credit Union in Deer Park. Although her vocation is banking, she holds a degree in education and sees her service as working with youth in any way.

Aaron also works in banking and is Financial Concierge II at the Deer Park branch of Washington Trust Bank. He sees his life work as “service” which is apparent from this Eagle Scout.

The Rotary Club is pleased to welcome these two individuals to join them in “Service Above Self”.
