Chamber Donates $5,000 Towards Swinyard Park Improvements

After introducing visitors and guests, and providing time for special announcements and updates, Deer Park Chamber President Warren Schick kicked off the meeting by introducing Deer Park Mayor Tim Verzal, and presenting him with a $5,000 donation to assist the city in completing the installation of new playground equipment at Swinyard Park.

The funds for the donation were raised at the Chamber’s 2017 Dinner and Auction Fundraiser. Currently, the Chamber is looking at additional park related projects, including partnering with the city and the Tri-County Little League to make needed improvements to the ball fields at the Sports Complex.

The Deer Park Chamber’s 2018 Dinner and Auction Fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, October 13th at the Eagles Lodge.
