These pretty flowering cacti are tropical cactus! They grow attached to trees in the jungles of Brazil, not in deserts on the ground! So keep pots small, short, and squat rather than deep to mimic their natural growing conditions.
One of the best parts about the Thanksgiving holiday is the amazing food that is shared among friends and family. During the holidays it can be tempting to share the feast with your pets, and luckily, with a little care it is possible to give them a small treat.
On November 23rd from 4-6pm, a free Thanksgiving meal will be held at Deer Park High School. The event, which is hosted by Christ’s Church of Deer Park, encourages you to “invite your friends, family, and neighbors and enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving meal with us.”
