Holiday magic is alive and well in Deer Park. Many festive events will bring the community together this weekend. From the holiday light parade and breakfast with Santa to nativity displays and theatrical performances, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this December.
After a two-year hiatus due to COVID 19 restrictions, members of the Deer Park Rotary Club were once again able to host this annual event at St. Mary Presentation Catholic Church in Deer Park. Twenty-four students from Deer Park, Riverside, and Mary Walker High Schools and their family members were invited to an afternoon of fun, food, and fellowship. The students were recognized with certificates and gifts.
Many people seek to stay cool because of the historical and extreme heatwave currently upon us, which will continue for an extended time. This heat can be especially problematic for heat sensitive and those without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration.
St. Mary Presentation Catholic Church would like to thank our community for your generous support of our garage sales. We started hosting garage sales ten years ago with the goal of paying off the building mortgage for the new church. Over the years, we’ve met many wonderful people, and we’ve been able to donate goods to those in need.
