The first Saturday in August 2023 dawned with hazy skies and a predicted high in the mid-80s.

The Libraries of Stevens County started in January loaning out Verizon MiFi Jetpacks and laptops. The devices and service were made possible by CARES grants from Stevens County and the Washington State Library to provide internet and technology access in areas with limited resources and connectivity.
Libraries of Stevens County is now offering cardholders free access to online educational courses from Lynda.com, thanks to a partnership with the Washington State Library and the Office of the Secretary of State.
