The event is designed to connect individuals interested in supporting the upcoming bond and levy. The group is also working to raise funds for materials in support of the campaign.

The Deer Park School District is addressing a concern related to an online threat and their potential impact on school safety. Superintendent Alexa Allman shared about a troubling post that had been circulating on Snapchat that referred to threats concerning school safety.

The first Saturday in August 2023 dawned with hazy skies and a predicted high in the mid-80s.
In the tiny community of Clayton, Washington, residents roused from fitful slumber or perhaps restless dreams to begin preparing to attend Brickyard Day 2023 festivities.

The Community Summer Lunch Program in Deer Park, which served vital meals to youth, ended prematurely this year due to low community participation and communication issues. Operated by the Deer Park School District through the Summer Food Service Program, had to be relocated to Perrins Field for this summer.

Early results for the August Primary for the Deer Park School District At Large Board and Fire District 4 Fire Commissioners. The results will not be finalized until the Secretary of the State of Washington has certified the results.

The event was well attended. Each candidate had the opportunity to give statements and answer a limited number of questions. Afterwards, the candidates mixed and mingled to answer questions from potential voters.

The Deer Park School District invites community members to participate in a Community Forum. The forum’s purpose is to engage with residents, gather input, and provide updates on the district’s planning process.

As the primary elections draw near, the spotlight falls on the school board director positions, which play an indispensable role in shaping the educational landscape of our communities. Nine candidates are campaigning for three positions.
