The Summer Meal Program, also known as the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) was created to help ensure children have nutritious meals when school is out of session. The Summer Meals Program provides free meals and snacks to people ages 1-18. The SFSP is a federally-funded, state-administered program. Different organizations like Deer Park, Riverside, and Mary Walker School Districts as well as Spokane County Library District sponsor meals in our area. Below is a list of locations where kids can receive free food.
