Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month: Bates DDS

BatesDDS is a general dentistry practice that provides comprehensive oral health care to the greater tri-county area. Located at 1900 E Crawford in Deer Park in a new, state of the art facility, BatesDDS provides dental services and expertise in all disciplines. Along with dental cleanings and restorative procedures, BatesDDS provides CAD/CAM dentistry, wisdom teeth removal and other oral surgery procedures, digitally guided implant therapy, and orthodontic procedures which include traditional braces and aligner therapy. The mission of BatesDDS is to provide the highest quality and most technologically advanced care available. 

Dr Bates is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and an Army veteran where he served in the Dental Corps, including one tour in Afghanistan. Dr Bates and his wife, Afton, have six children and for the last six years have made their home in the Deer Park area. They love being involved in the schools and its activities and are grateful to be a part of this great community.

US 395 Lanes Reopened After Collision Near Monroe Road

A traffic collision at the intersection of North US Highway 395 and West Monroe Road temporarily blocked northbound traffic. Emergency crews, including multiple fire units and ambulances, responded to the scene to treat individuals and manage traffic flow. All lanes have since been cleared and reopened to regular traffic.

Roberta was the oldest of eight siblings, a role she carried with strength, care, and a deep sense of responsibility throughout her life.
