Discover and Dream

Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring community gatherings as a valued step in a process to shaping our community’s future. These intentional gatherings are referred to as “Building a Remarkable Community”. In the gathering, stories of our local community and business owners are highlighted and shared values are expressed. Together we are finding the words to describe the beautiful town we all know and love as Deer Park.

In addition, we are finding values to build on our community’s future- TOGETHER. It is an intentional phase in the process of “Discovery and Dream” as a community. It will inform our process of designing a community for future generations. This is known as a 4D Process that values community engagement and hinges on shared values and goals.

Shared values that came of our past gatherings are multi-generational focus, presence, and pride in workmanship.

The next gatherings are as follows:

  • March 17th at Five North Coffee + Gifts at 7pm
  • April 20th at Lofty Skies C.O.F.F.E.E. at 7pm
  • May 18th at The Pickett Fence at 7pm
  • June 15th at The Pickett Fence At 7pm
