New “Vets for Vets” Fitness Program

Deer Park Physical Therapy & Fitness Center (DPPT&FC) – which operates The Pool, The Fitness Center, and The Gym – is proud to announce a program of physical fitness and therapeutic recreation run by veterans for veterans. This program includes fitness classes in The Pool and recreational fitness time at The Gym, all at NO cost to our Veterans, Law Enforcement, and First Responders.

Vets for Vets (V4V) will be facilitated by Becky Wortman, Tracy Fitzgerald, and Andrew Holstine. Mrs. Wortman is a Navy veteran, Mrs. Fitzgerald is a recreational therapist at Deer Park Physical Therapy Fitness Center, and also staff members of Spokane Veterans Forum. She is married to a retired Marine Colonel, and mother of a Marine Captain. Andrew is a former Marine, co-founder of Heroes Homestead.

V4V will launch with Aqua Circuit Training on June 2nd from 12pm to 2pm, and every Sunday thereafter. Aqua Circuit Training will be a fast-paced exercise class without having a painful impact on joints. In addition, beginning June 3, we will be providing recreational time with supervision in The GYM, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am-12 noon.

Veterans, Law Enforcement, and First Responders interested in this program should contact:
