Meet the inspiring contestants and their dreams at the Miss Deer Park Scholarship Association event happening later this week. This year’s theme is “I’ll Be There For You.”
A.J. Steinbeck, Deer Park High School November Student of the Month, was introduced by Principal Joe Feist as an academic and an athlete. He is Captain of the Football and Track Teams and an avid outdoorsman. A.J. said he enjoys everything outdoors!
During their weekly ZOOM meeting, the Deer Park Rotary Club selected their Students Of The Month for October.
Marlowe Keller will graduate from the University of Washington in a virtual ceremony on Saturday, June 13. Marlowe will graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology with a minor in English writing. During her time at UW, she worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Department of Biology and co-authored a meta-analysis on achievement gaps in active learning that was published in PNAS. In her junior year, she was the Vice President of Membership of the Beta Beta Beta
