Aces and Kills:
The game saw impressive serving skills, with Emma Oergel of Riverside delivering three aces and Avery Haff of Lakeside responding with four aces. On the attacking front, Kaylee Winterroth of Riverside registered six kills, while Ashlyn Kreuch of Lakeside led the charge with 13 kills. 

Digs and Blocks:
Regarding defensive plays, Kynlea Toner of Riverside contributed seven crucial digs, while Bella Tobeck of Lakeside had 11 digs. At the net, Kaylee Winterroth of Riverside tallied an impressive eight blocks. On the Lakeside side, Lacy Crabtree and Rylee Darnold each added one block to their team’s total. 

Assists:
Emma Oergel of Riverside notched eight assists, while Neely Pederson and Rylee Darbold of Lakeside had a combined total of 21 assists.

Deer Park Girls vs Bellevue Christian

Albeit in a different fashion, the Deer Park Lady Stags took another step towards making history on Saturday with a first-round (regional) win over Bellevue Christian 41-35 at their postseason home away from home West Valley High School. With the victory, Deer Park advances to the Thursday 9:00 pm quarterfinal game against the winner of the Wednesday matchup between eighth-seeded Toppenish and number nine Cashmere needing one more win for the program’s first-ever state trophy.
