Beautiful Kono is looking for the perfect forever family, and now would be the perfect time to get her acclimated into her new home. DNA tested, she is a mix of Rottweiler, Golden Retriever, Australian Shepherd, Siberian Husky, and American Staffordshire Terrier.

She lived at SCRAPS from the time she was 4 months old until a year old. Being unsocialized and having high energy caused her initial placement attempts to fail. She lost her coat in chunks and became more and more kennel stressed.

Murci’s Mission placed her foster care. In 3 short months she went from a bald and uncontrolled pup to a glistening, well mannered and amazing high drive canine.

Eager to please, she would do fine with children over 10. She is good with indoor cats and large livestock, but will chase small outdoor critters like outside cats and chickens.

She can be dog friendly, but is still under-socialized and can cause tension. She should only be placed in a home with another dog if her adopter is very experienced, and the other dog(s) in the home are well trained and do not have behavioral issues, including hyperactivity or reactivity.
