Buy, Sell or Rent

Have you been procrastinating about selling your home? Think no more and act now, right now. Inventory is still extremely low and the interest rates have remained low. Now is the time to sell. It is a sellers market and the market will change. Add that to all the newcomers moving in from the rest of the United States and you have many more buyers than homes on the market. Act now to get your property on the market before the white stuff starts to fall.

As a buyer, the bank financing is still a challenge, so if your credit isn’t stellar, and you don’t have a steady work history for at least two years, you may want to work on improving your credit score and stay where you are at. The market will change and you want to be ready as a buyer when it does. Also, would be buyers with less than perfect credit, or going through a life change but have some money, could possibly enter into an owner contract to purchase a home. The seller steps into the shoes of the finance company and holds the contract.  The buyer has some advantages because there is no cost to borrow money compared to a traditional loan.

If you are a tenant and want to convert over to purchasing a home, you have to have a plan in place to do that.  It does take some time. Jeff has converted several tenants into owners. Come see Jeff Hickethier and he will help you do just that.

Want to move elsewhere, but don’t want to sell just yet? Consider renting your home; there are some tax advantages while retaining ownership of your home and creating some income at the same time.

Ericks Realty is family-owned for over 40 years. Ericks Realty was originally purchased from John Erickson about 43 years ago.  They have had that name since then and had not felt the need to change the name. Owners Jeff and Kim Hickethier are ready to help you sell your current home, find your dream home, find a rental for you, or manage your property in the Deer Park and North Spokane areas.  They can answer any questions you may have about the real estate market, and can even do a home evaluation to see what it is worth.

Come into Ericks Realty and see Jeff and Kim at S. 110 Main St. in Deer Park,  call 509-276-2121, or email at [email protected] if you would like to buy, sell, or rent.
