Hello Citizens of Fire District 4,
I wanted to take the opportunity to thank all of you who helped us make it through the July 4th holiday with very little impact from fireworks. I realize it is “no fun” to miss out on this tradition it is one of the ways we show our patriotism to celebrate this great nation.
Some communities around the state suffered significant loss from fire this weekend. It appears it is going to be a hot, dry summer. Area firefighters have already been called to what I am sure is just the beginning of a long hard battle in the wildfire arena. Please continue to be cautious, keep your loved ones and your property safe and thank you again for your continued support.
