State Farm – A Good Neighbor

After six years in management with State Farm, Billy Costello decided to open his own agency here in Deer Park. He feels truly blessed to be taking over where Ed Bryan (former agent) left off to help provide insurance and financial services to the Deer Park and surrounding communities. The office is still located behind Subway, and as many people have asked, Cindy is most definitely still there! Additionally, two amazing team members,  Kristin and Nate, have been added, they have over 10 years of insurance experience between them.

As you have probably seen from the many State Farm commercials, what sets them apart from other insurance companies is being a local “Good Neighbor” in the communities they serve. This mentality is why Costello decided to make this leap, and is something he plans to bring to our community. After just opening in September, they have already had pictures with Santa, a free BBQ outside of their office, free community coffee at Classic Café, had a blast passing out candy and prizes for Pumpkin Lane, and just recently opened up a “Free Little Library” outside  their office for kids to borrow and share books. Costello has also provided sponsorships to both Deer Park and Riverside athletic programs and Winterfest 2019. These are things he will continue to do, and will look for even more opportunities to help out the community going into 2019 and beyond.

On a personal level, he and his lovely wife (Amber – whom he fondly referred to as beautiful) just celebrated 10 years of marriage in September. They’ve been blessed with three great kids: Kathryn(7), Brooklyn(5), and Nolan(3). As a family, they are big sports fans, love being outside, love going to the movies, and have been known to binge an entire TV show on a weekend via Netflix.

Most people look at insurance as a service that is only there to help recover from the unexpected. At State Farm, they offer competitive rates on Auto, Home, Renters, Farm, Life, and Health insurance.  They are also there to help customers reach their dreams through products and services, such as competitive rates on vehicle loans, interest-earning savings account, credit cards, and much more. They have ideas for every stage of life, so please stop by to see how they can help you reach your dreams and goals!

Please feel free to stop by the office to meet the team and grab one of their FREE calendars and ice scrapers, and don’t forget about their FREE LITTLE LIBRARY! They can also be reached at (509) 276-8714 or on their website at www.509Neighbor.com.
